This is the first in a long line book
reviews of the books I have listed below. This first
review is of the
photographers market book. If your into selling your photos to
magazines and the like this book is for you. They also have a section on contests and stock
agency's. Each section features
interviews of
professional photographers were they give tips in photo selling. the big down side of this book is that its more of a
directory than a photo
business book and even though it is a photo book it is almost
completely devoid of photos. all and all I give this book an 7.5 out of 10 a good buy if you want to do some selling.
This picture was taken in my back yard along a chain link fence. The question is though where is the chain link fence? Well once again using my trusty portrait feature on my Sony DCS-h5 I blurred out the back ground and now the ugly features of a chain link fence are magically gone! Wait Theres more! I then used the blurred out branches as frames for the lone flower that is in focus.
It may have taken me many many years but I found a great place to take photos in the comfort of my property. Many bushes and flowers grow in my back yard ,one of those bushes was flowering. I was around for the perfect day to take darker photos like this one. I chose around 3 o'clock on a rainy day but by this point it st oped raining. using the diffused light from the rain clouds and the water left over from the rain I captured this photo. Using my portrait feature on my Sony DCS-H5 I blurred out the background there for making my viewers focus in on the flowers.
